Offshore Client Representative (Foundation & Cable Installation) – Offshore Wind (m/f/d)

Location: Offshore (Northern Europe) | Rotation-Based
Start Date: Q2 2026 (Contract Role)

Be the Client's Eyes Offshore

We are looking for experienced Offshore Client Representatives (OCRs) to support offshore wind installation campaigns across Northern European waters. In this role, you will act as the client's on-site authority, ensuring offshore works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and technical expectations.

This position suits professionals who are confident working in dynamic offshore environments and capable of balancing operational oversight with stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary offshore liaison between client, contractors, and vessel teams
  • Provide independent oversight of installation activities (e.g. foundations, subsea cables, seabed works)
  • Track daily offshore operations, identifying deviations and supporting corrective actions
  • Ensure activities align with agreed technical specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Promote safe working practices by actively engaging with onboard teams and contributing to safety initiatives
  • Review operational reports and logs to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with actual progress
  • Monitor contractor performance from both a technical and operational perspective
  • Support planning discussions to improve offshore efficiency, considering constraints such as weather and vessel logistics
  • Observe vessel readiness, equipment setup, and operational preparedness ahead of key offshore phases
  • Maintain clear and structured communication with onshore stakeholders
  • Contribute to post-activity reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a client-facing offshore role (e.g. OCR, Marine Rep, Offshore Supervisor)
  • Strong background in offshore wind installation, including:
    • Foundation installation (e.g. monopiles, jackets), and/or
    • Subsea cable installation (array/export)
  • Practical understanding of offshore vessel operations and installation workflows
  • Familiarity with offshore HSE standards and industry best practices
  • Ability to assess contractor performance and interpret operational data
  • Experience working in rotational offshore assignments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently offshore
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Assignment Details

  • Offshore wind installation campaigns across North-Sea
  • Rotation-based work supporting continuous offshore operations
  • Mobilization via regional ports; logistics managed in line with local offshore regulations
  • Initial campaign duration expected to span several weeks/months, with potential follow-on work
